Andrew Bosworth (Boz) will become the next CTO of Facebook. Formerly, Boz led the AR/VR research team at Facebook (Facebook Reality Lab).
The Facebook <> Ryan-Ban Stories glasses have released for $299. With Stories, users can capture audio, images, video and listen to music directly through the glasses. ๐
Xiaomi has teased its AR Smart Glasses Concept. It features a MicroLED Display & 5MP Camera.

Since adding assets from the open source rhythm game Friday Night Funkinโ and sharing content to TikTok, weโve welcomed thousands of new guests from around the world to Vortex. ๐ฅ
We are working through our new guestsโ feedback and studying the content they are creating to better understand the market and how to craft an exceptional experience.

After Boz tweeted a video announcing the release of the Ray-Ban Stories where he throws pillows at Mark Zuckerberg, 3D artist Brielle Garcia roto-scoped each frame and created an interactive AR Snap lens out of it. Now everyone can throw pillows at Zuck. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
New Zealand based Animator Peter Monga fuses motion sensor input from VR controllers to produce highly expressive character animation in REAL-TIME!
